I had meant to post these photos sooner after I started my furlough, but only recently have I felt rested enough to be somewhat productive.

Muk, the woman who made my silk dress and is one of my closest friends in the Permsup slum. The silk purse shown in the picture I have brought back to the States with me to sell for her. I’m currently brainstorming and talking with friends who have business experience about how to potentially help Muk earn a better living from her own handiwork, rather than the meager wages her employer pays her.
